ICC1314 Charge controller

  • PCB solution for modular and future-proof AC charging stations
  • Part of the Charging Electronics platform: suitable for all charging scenarios
  • Complements the power modules of the IPM1xxx series
  • AFIR compatible with ISO15118
  • Wi-Fi, Ethernet and 4G modem on board
  • Supports communication protocols such as OCPP, Modbus and EEBUS.
  • Very compact PCB design (120 x 100 mm)

The ICC1314 is an integrated charge controller and part of the Charging Electronics platform. This combines all the familiar functions of Bender charge controllers in the smallest of spaces. The ICC1314 is a compact version of the ICC1324 without an integrated power supply.

This PCB measures only 120 mm x 100 mm and therefore harmonizes perfectly with the power modules for setting up AC charging stations.

Together with the power modules IPM1301 and IPM1401 the ICC1314 forms the basis of a scalable platform for different charging applications. Thanks to uniform sizes, various Bender components can be flexibly integrated into mechanically identical housings – regardless of the application scenario or market segment.
In conjunction with a 2nd ICC1314 (companion variant), twin AC charging stations are easy to implement.
And with the smallest power module IPM1300, very compact charging stations can be realized.

This means that it can be used flexibly in charging stations and wallboxes for all application scenarios: for public, semi-public and private use.

The combination of ICC1314 and IPM1xxx supports all the protection functions required by the standard: 6 mA DC residual current detection, protective conductor monitoring, surge protection and rotary field detection. The integrated Weld-Check function detects welded relay contacts and controls a disconnect device.

Thanks to Hubject's support for ISO 15118, including Plug&Charge certification, the ICC1314 is future-proof. Grid-serving control according to §14a EnWG is supported via the EEBus protocol.
