Testing of electrical devices

Protecting people, ensuring safety

Testing of electrical equipment in accordance with German DGUV Regulation 3

In order to protect people from the dangers of electrical current, all portable and permanently installed electrical equipment in hospitals, doctors' offices, nursing homes and other medical facilities must be regularly checked for safety.

With the safety testers of the UNIMET® series, Bender offers standardised measurement technology in a compact design. The convenient operation makes checking hospital beds, treatment chairs, examination devices and other equipment simple and safe.

Electrically safe from manufacture

Testing of medical electrical devices

According to IEC 60601-1, certain measured values must be recorded and stored when medical devices are put into operation for the first time. These measured values serve as reference values for the subsequent safety checks.

The UNIMET® safety testers can easily store the measured values required by IEC 60601-1 and other regulations and assign them to the respective devices. They are therefore suitable for tests during initial commissioning, for repeat tests and tests after maintenance and repair.
