Due to rapid growth over the past few years, we currently have an exciting vacancy for a newly created role as a Projects Engineer within our Industrial team.

Main Purpose

The role is responsible for managing and overseeing projects across the full spectrum of the company's diverse portfolio within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

This hybrid role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate installation of our equipment in a wide variety of environments and ensuring that all post-project documentation is completed.

You will need to be able to understand the requirements of a project from a customer’s perspective and arrange and place subsequent orders with suppliers, ensuring equipment is delivered and invoiced on completion.

There is travel involved within this role as you would be expected to attend site meetings as required to represent Bender UK before, during and after installation, continuously liaising with all parties in the Bender and sub-supply supply chain to ensure the projects are completed to a high standard.

Project Engineers will also support the Bender UK Sales Team by offering technical advice and information by phone, email or even in person onsite if required.

Profile:

You will need to have a full, clean UK driver’s licence and a willingness to travel across the UK to oversee projects on-site when required.

We are looking for someone who is competent, courteous and professional who can demonstrate dedication to their stakeholders both internally and externally, possesses excellent time management skills and has the drive and desire to succeed.

You will be computer literate, and the ability to use Salesforce CRM would be a distinct advantage.

The person we are looking for will have a background in Electrical Engineering with an NVQ3, ONC or equivalent in electrical engineering being advantageous, as would previous knowledge of the Bender equipment portfolio.

You should be reliable and flexible – this role will involve travel, so you should hold a full, clean driver’s licence, be a self-starter and be prepared to travel within the UK. A company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop and iPad will be provided to enable you to do your job.
