Steve strengthens medical experience at Bender UK

 Bender UK has appointed Steve Coleman as the company’s National Clinical Sales Consultant to add to the wealth of experience and expertise meeting the needs of healthcare trusts and private medical facilities across the UK.

Bender UK is a leading provider of isolated power supplies, UPS systems, Steris X-LED theatre lighting, hygienic touch screen theatre control panels and turnkey theatre installations, offering innovative solutions for safe handling of electrical power and advanced provision of critical care products alongside full through-life service support.

Steve has almost 20 years’ experience in the healthcare sector. He has previously worked on the provision of operating theatre equipment including operating tables and surgical lighting systems, and represented companies specialising in clinical pain management and other medical devices. He also ran his own business offering rehabilitation therapy to patients who had suffered spinal injuries.

Steve acknowledges Bender’s high levels of expertise in the clinical sector believes the company’s extensive technical knowledge and experience in helping to set the standards for electrical safety in medical facilities gives the company a unique advantage.

He explains: “Anyone can sell boxes and quite a lot of people do just that, but Bender have a more holistic view of the health sector. They have demonstrated a talent for full new build operating theatre installations and supplying into refurbishment projects, and their experience in the electrical infrastructure side of the business gives them an insight into both the facilities management elements of a project and also the overarching staff and patient safety.”
