Bender CC612 charge controller is a finalist

Urkunde Finalist eMove Award

Bender is delighted to be honoured as a “finalist” in the “eMove360° Award 2019” competition. The company, which specialises in electrical safety products, entered its charge controler CC612 in the “Charging & Energy” category. This controller is the technical heart of a calibration regulation-compliant charging station and has already received several awards; here it was selected by the jury as one of the most innovative and most promising submissions for the mobility of the future.

In all, 23 companies and organisations were nominated as finalists in the categories Mobility Concepts & Services, Charging & Energy, Battery & Powertrain, Automated Driving & Electronics, and Electric Vehicle. In addition, three submissions from academic institutions advanced to the final selection with prospects of a prize of 1,000 euros. The range of candidates for a B2B technology prize is broad: From start-ups pursuing completely new paths or developing smart concepts for tomorrow’s mobility to well-established companies in the automotive sector providing practical answers to the pressing questions raised by the switch from fossil-fuelled to sustainable mobility.

The winners were announced on the eve of the opening of eMove360° Europe 2019 – the International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0 in the sumptuous Gloria Filmpalast in Munich. The event was held under the patronage of the Minister for Economics of the State of Bavaria, Hubert Aiwanger.
