Configuring WLAN
1. Goal
- Connect your Charge Controller to your network through WLAN
2. Connect to WLAN
WLAN Configuration Modes
The charge controller can operate in one of the following WLAN modes:
-
Access Point (AP) mode
-
Station (STA) mode
-
Simultaneous AP + STA mode
2.1. WLAN Access Point Mode
In the factory default configuration, the charge controller automatically creates a local WLAN network (hotspot) that allows direct access to its Web User Interface. For the first 15 minutes after the device is powered on, the hotspot is active and can be used to connect to the controller and perform initial configuration. Once connected, the Web UI can be accessed at the following default address: http://192.168.127.1
The default login credentials are preconfigured and can be changed by the user via the Web UI. It is strongly recommended to change the default password to prevent unauthorized access. User passwords and device parameters can also be modified by the manufacturer via the configuration menu.
WLAN Station Mode To connect the controller to an existing WLAN network, the network credentials (SSID and password) must first be entered via the temporary hotspot in the configuration menu. Once the device is successfully connected to the target network, it can be accessed through its device hostname (e.g., http://hcc1511 ) using DNS resolution.
The PC or mobile device accessing the controller must be connected to the same network as the charge controller.
