EEBus
EEBus is a standardized communication protocol designed for interoperable energy management across smart home and grid-connected devices. When enabled, the EEBus interface allows compatible external energy managers to communicate with and control the charging station, optimizing charging based on grid conditions, household consumption, or renewable energy availability.
These settings define how the HCC interacts with the energy manager, including activation of the EEBus interface, fallback behavior in case of communication failure (failsafe mode), and the process for initiating or managing the coupling between the charger and the energy manager.
Location in Config UI | Parameter | Value | Info |
|---|---|---|---|
| # Load Management | EEBus interface | On | Compatible energy managers can control the charging station via the EEBus interface |
Failsafe power in case of connection failure [W] | 0000 | If the connection to the energy manager fails, the failsafe power for LPC is set to the value set here | |
Minimum duration for failsafe state [s] | 0000 | The minimum duration that the system will remain in the LPC failsafe state if the connection to the energy manager fails. Possible value range: 7200s to 86400s | |
Connect or disconnect the energy manager | Couple Energy Meter | Activates the EEBus coupling process. The coupling must also be activated on energy manager side. |
