Authorization

Authorization defines the access to the EV charging infrastructure for a select or undefined user group.

1. Settings for charging an EV

The following table provides an overview of key Authorization parameters available in the Bender HCC configuration interface. These settings control whether charging is permitted, how it is initiated, and whether authorization is required for a charging session.

	Free Charging	on	Allows charging without authorization. It is immediately started when a vehicle is connected

2. Manual authorization through the charging button

Enabling the charging button

1. Log in to the Config UI using the default Operator Login Credentials
2. Under AUTHORIZATION > General, set Enable charging button on dashboard to On
3. At the bottom of the Config UI, click , then click to apply the changes

Using the charging button

1. Log in to the Config UI using the default Operator Login Credentials
2. Under DASHBOARD, click the charging button labeled Start:
