Welcome to the Bender Controller Software Docs!

The Bender Home Charging Controller (HCC) is designed to support essential charging functions.

Key features currently available include:

• Charging an electric vehicle without a connected energy meter or transaction logging (i.e., no SQL database integration).
• Allowing or disallowing free charging, with visibility limited to whether charging is permitted.
• Enabling and disabling EEBus functionality, including the ability to connect to a control box and perform basic tests related to EEBus Grid Use Cases.

This documentation will guide you through the setup, configuration, and usage of the features currently available in the Bender HCC.
