Operator options

1. Changing the password

  1. Log in to the Config UI using the default Operator Login Credentials
  2. Under SYSTEM > Password, click
  3. Fill out the form
  4. At the bottom of the Config UI, click , then click to apply the changes

After these steps, the Operator should be able to log in with the new password.

2. Password recovery and PUK settings

The Operator can only recover their password if the manufacturer has provided one of the options above.

If the Operator forgets their password, on the login screen, attempt logging in while leaving both the Username and Password empty. The Forgot Password option will appear.
Alternatively, the Forgot Password shows up after one failed login attempt.

If you have provided a PUK code to your Operators, tell them they can reset their password by entering the PUK after clicking the Forgot Password button.

2.1. Resetting the password through a Master RFID card

If you supply a Master RFID card to your Operator, they can reset the passwords for the User, Installer and Operator roles by scanning the Master RFID card after clicking the Forgot Password button.

2.2. Resetting the password through a Master RFID card

Operators can self-register a Master RFID using Web UI 2.0: go to System > Change Operator Password, provide the current Operator password and enter the Master RFID during the password change process. This requires no additional configuration; the Operator must know their current password to perform this action.

3. Deleting private data

  1. Log in to the Config UI using the default Operator Login Credentials
  2. Under SYSTEM > System Maintenance click
